with an election looming next year, followed by the referendum on whether the south will secede from the nation, the latest violence is probably just the beginning. internal, tribal conflict - the latest being an attack in Jonglei south Sudan. then there is the constant nemesis from uganda, the lord's resistance army (LRA) and there most recent carnage along the southern border with uganda and CAR. kidnapping childern to become child soldiers, rape, chopping off body parts, burning villages. it's ironic the LRA started as an opposition to the ugandan government over 20 years ago and claimed they wanted to reinstate the 10 commandments and 'convert' the nation. they are now one of the most notorious and horrible butchers in africa.
