the swiss airlines flight will be delayed for two hours. i asked someone why and this was his response:
"the plane had a hard landing in dar salaam."
i respond, "what do you mean, 'hard landing'?"
"the landing gear didn't completely come out so the pilot had to force it out. they will spend time to check out the plane and will be here in two hours."

i'm en route back to the states after a couple world cup matches.
the netherlands vs cameroon was a lame game since cameroon was already eliminated and netherlands had already secured a second round, so the game wasn't that exciting. the spain v portugal game showed the control and skill of the spanish as they held the ball for majority of the game, allowing only several counter attacks by the portuguese. pictures will be forthcoming...
